This was the famous outlaw Billy the kid’s final escape, he had killed the deputy James Bell right before this scene. Then using Bob Olingers own shotgun, blows him away with both barrels. Billy was gonna be sentenced to hang.

I actually have this anime series on DVD. It's very enjoyable. More people should know about it.

I honestly do. They definitely were interesting, though I think they could have been used more in other Batman properties. Really play up the Kabuki theater aspect
